The name is inspired by John 15:5: “I am the vine. You are the branches.” At its heart, this brand is about abiding in Christ and creating from that place.

We believe music is never neutral.
Music shapes atmosphere. It influences emotion. It reinforces thought patterns. It becomes part of the environment we live in and, over time, part of the people we become.
In many ways, music is like a tea bag placed into water: whatever is in it begins to diffuse and infuse everything around it. In the same way, what we repeatedly listen to enters our hearts, our homes, and our habits.
This is especially true for babies and children, who are deeply formed by the environments around them.
That is why The Singing Vine exists. We want to create music that infuses homes with peace rather than chaos, truth rather than emptiness, and beauty rather than noise. We want to make songs that help parents and children dwell in a more life-giving atmosphere, one marked by calm, love, reverence, and Christ-centered hope.
The Story Behind the Music
The Singing Vine was born during one of the most meaningful seasons of my life: preparing to welcome our first daughter into the world.
During my wife’s pregnancy, I began searching for peaceful, meaningful music that I could sing and play over our baby. I wanted music that felt calming, beautiful, and spiritually nourishing. What I found, however, was that it was surprisingly difficult to find a diverse collection of lullabies that truly reflected Christian values while also carrying the gentleness, warmth, and depth I was looking for.
That search led to a desire to create the kind of music I had been hoping to find, songs that could shape the atmosphere of a home, bring peace to a child, and gently remind families of what matters most. I wanted to make something that could fill ordinary moments with peace, tenderness, and a sense of God’s presence.
What began as a personal need soon grew into a larger vision for families.
That longing, and that season of expectancy, became the beginning of The Singing Vine.
My Personal Journey
My story is deeply tied to the heart behind this brand.
I grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and that place shaped me more deeply than I can fully express. I was formed by a culture that valued family, faith, community, and the deeper things of life.
There was something about the country way of living that always stayed with me: the warmth of people, the sense of rootedness, the beauty of simple things, and the feeling that life was meant to be lived with gratitude, humility, and connection. Those roots left a lasting mark on me.
I grew up in the Christian faith, but for many years I did not fully understand what it meant to have a living relationship with Christ. As I got older, especially during college, I did not simply drift away; I actively pushed back. I reached a point where I rejected the Christian faith entirely, convinced it simply was not logical.
That season became part of the deeper story God would later redeem.
The Prodigal Period
Later, while living in Hawaii, I went through what I now understand as a prodigal season, a period of being spiritually unanchored and searching in the wrong places.
In many ways, Hawaii was a beautiful chapter of my life. There were moments of real joy, beauty, adventure, and experiences I will always be grateful for. I genuinely loved much about the islands, the atmosphere, and that season of life. And yet, beneath so much of it, there was also a quiet emptiness I could not escape. Even surrounded by beauty, I was still not fully at peace. Something deeper was missing.
During that time, I made mistakes that I deeply regret. My heart was not where it should have been, and although that season held much beauty and many moments of real happiness, it was still marked by a deeper spiritual emptiness. Looking back, it reminds me that even a beautiful life outwardly cannot replace the warmth of walking closely with Christ.
Even though I was walking away from him, God, in His mercy, pursued me.
Love and Restoration
What followed was a profound transformation in my life.
When I met my wife, she played a deeply meaningful role in leading me back toward Christ. What began as openness and curiosity gradually became something much deeper: a real encounter with Jesus and a restored relationship with Him.
Around 2018, my faith began to come alive in a way I had never experienced before, not merely as an idea or tradition, but as something living, personal, and real.
As my faith was restored, so was my gratitude for the values that had shaped me growing up: faith, family, humility, community, and a deep appreciation for what matters most. I found myself seeing those roots with new clarity and thankfulness.
Though I now live on the West Coast, my country roots still live deeply in me, and they continue to shape the warmth, spirit, simplicity, and groundedness behind The Singing Vine. They remain part of the deeper story I carry with me.
Inspiration Behind the Brand
Today, we live in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, with our daughter and our dog, Coconut. This coastal town has become part of the inspiration behind the brand. Its timeless beauty, cobblestone streets, storybook character, and quiet sense of wonder have helped shape the aesthetic and emotional world I hope The Singing Vine carries. There is something about Carmel that feels both peaceful and enchanted, gentle and memorable, and that spirit has deeply influenced the visual and emotional tone of this work.
That aesthetic is also deeply inspired by God’s creation and by a lifelong love for animals. I have long felt that part of reflecting God’s heart is extending care, tenderness, and compassion toward all He has made. That sense of gentleness, beauty, wonder, and affection for creation is woven throughout this brand and continues to shape the spirit behind it.
Ultimately, this brand is one expression of a renewed faith, a way of creating from gratitude, conviction, and a desire to point others toward what matters most.
The Heart Behind the Lullabies
The lullabies are especially personal to me.
I sing them to my daughter at night, and that experience has deeply shaped how I think about this music. These songs are not only meant to be listened to; they are also meant to be used, carried into real homes, quiet rooms, bedtime routines, and the ordinary sacred moments of family life.
I hope these lullabies become guides for mothers, fathers, grandparents, and caregivers, songs they can sing over the children they love. I believe the songs themselves matter, and that they can bring real comfort on their own. But my deeper hope is that they inspire something even more meaningful: a parent’s own voice filling a room with peace, blessing, tenderness, and love.
There is something holy and irreplaceable about that kind of presence, when a child is comforted not only by music, but by being sung over by someone who loves them and delights in them. That hope lives at the very heart of these songs each night.

Every song is guided with intention, care, and a desire to create something meaningful and spiritually grounded.
At this stage, the music production, vocals, instrumentation, and visuals are AI-produced under original human creative direction. We use these tools intentionally, not to remove the human element, but to help accelerate the early stages of building something meaningful and to bring more songs into the world that can serve families now.
At the same time, we do not believe technology can replace the depth, soul, and irreplaceable beauty of human artistry. Our long-term vision is to collaborate with artists and musicians from across the world to bring these songs more fully to life.
Giving Back: A Mission Bigger than Music
The Singing Vine is a mission-driven project dedicated to using creativity for good. Because music is a powerful force that shapes hearts and generations, our goal is to channel its influence to do more than entertain. We want to create art that brings beauty, peace, truth, and Christ-centered hope into the world while also serving a greater purpose beyond the songs themselves.
To support that vision, a portion of qualifying company profits generated through our monetized music and video activities is independently donated to organizations serving vulnerable children.
These charitable donations are funded entirely from within our own business receipts, meaning that engagement with our content helps support the cause without requiring any direct out-of-pocket giving from the listener.
